Mr Ashok Dutt

ASHOK DUTT is the promoter and founding member of DENEPL. He graduated from Pune University and did his MBA at Bombay University. He has worked with ITC Ltd. for three decades as a trainer/educator. He retired in 2014 as the Vice President of Learning and Development in the company. He has also been a visiting faculty for a number of institutes and organizations, training managers and students alike.
Dutt has been an admirer of the arts with special interest in theatre, music and creative art. He has also delved into the world of acting and scriptwriting. Thus, he has been a professional scriptwriter, producer and director as well as a trained process worker of self and group development programmes for quite some time now. He has a number of short movies to his credit. His film Desert Rose is an apt evidence of his creativity. He is also a founder member of Aastha—a trust that develops trainers in the education sphere.
At DENEPL, Ashok brings in his years of experience in scriptwriting and directing films, along with creative ideas on the execution of the task, to inspire the future film-makers.

Mrs Sadhana Dutt

SADHANA DUTT completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Hotel Management from Bombay University and initially worked as a trainee in the then evolving hotel industry. After her marriage in 1982, she moved to Calcutta with her husband and started her own business called ‘Good Housekeeping’. By the year 1993, she was one of the most preferred trainer for housekeeping all the way in Mangalore University. Today, she is one of the most creative prop designer in the creative industry.
At DENEPL, she is the promoter/production head.

Mr. Rajiv Kapoor

RAJIV KAPOOR is a skilled professional who began his career as a photographer and later switched to videography. He uses the styles of cinematography in his videos to create a unique, signature quality.From shooting on VHS video cameras at the age of 15, his career has been travelled alongside the transformation in technology, from analog to digital.Currently working as a Director of Photography, cinematographer and editor, he has an edge over most other participants in his field. Always looking for an opportunity to learn and share knowledge is the key to Kapoor's success.
He is now a partner of Studio Fotolite. At DENEPL, he is a faculty of cinematography.

Mr. Sukanti Roy

SUKANTI ROY is the sole sound forger for the duo, Sukanti & Anushree, the backbone of the ‘Electronica’ element that defines the sound of the outfit. Roy is the founder member of Cassani’s Division, the pioneer hybrid alt-rock English band in India. Spanning over 12 years, the band has been the winner of Sutasiin South Asia (2008) and a finalist at the Channel V Launch Pad (2006). Roy's quiet yet powerful creative force is driven by his deep understanding of western pop/rock/alternative and metal genres and, above all, a repertoire of 20 years of professional music.
At DENEPL, he is the head of music vertical.

Mr. Shadeep Dewan

SHADEEP DEWAN is a young media professional and aspiring film-maker. After completing his schooling from Himali Boarding School, Kurseong, he joined the International School of Business and Media, Kolkata, and graduated in Media Management in the year 2008.He has gathered experience in a retail house as a Manager and PR and has worked for the famous designers, Dev-r-Nil and Sejal Kanoi. His passion for films drove him to learn the ropes of film-making. He is well known among his colleagues and mentors for his passion, creativity and commitment. Each of his films, whether short (one minute/single shot) or longer (17 minutes) has been well appreciated. Some of his short films, namely, Wake Up, Juice up, Butterflies, Losing Grip, are featured at the DENEPL site.
He is now a film critic, writes film reviews for a national magazine called ADDO and is also currently working in a Bengali feature film as an associate director under DENEPL.

Ms. Sasha Singh

SASHA SINGH, a graduate from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata, has written and directed a number of short films which have been screened at film festivals like the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) and International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala (IDSFFK). She has worked as an assistant director in many short fiction and documentary films.
At DENEPL, she is faculty of screenplay and story writing.
